Khi cài IE7, nó bắt phải kết nối internet để kiểm tra bản quyền hợp lệ của WINXPSP2. Nếu máy của bạn dùng CDKEY không hợp lệ thì sẽ không cài được.
Vì vậy đầu tiên là phải thay đổi CDKEY:
1. Chạy RUN --> REGEDIT
2. Tìm đến HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrent VersionWPAEvents.
3. Chọn OOBETimer bên phải, MODIFY
4. Thay đổi giá trị bất kỳ để làm mất hiệu lực CDKEY cũ (deactivate)
5. Thoát regedit.
Thay đổi CDKEY mới:
1. Chạy RUN --> %systemroot%system32oobemsoobe.exe /a
2. Chọn option "Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows" --> Next.
3. Ấn "Change Product key"
4. Nhập CD KEY mới:
MJPMD-69P47-4JK37-DGQF2-XMWPQ.
Tung : V2C47-MK7JD-3R89F-D2KXW-VPK3J
5. Chương trình sẽ quay lại cửa sổ cũ, ấn "click Remind me later"
6. Khởi động lại máy.
7. Bây giờ CDKEY của WIN đã hợp lệ và có thể cài IE7

Nếu nhiều máy sử dụng license key này để active thì sẽ dẫn đến tình trạng, Windows trở về nguyên thuỷ, bắt đăng ký và chỉ cho xài 30 ngày.
Cách để install IE 7 trên Windows không có WGA vui lòng xem bài post của tôi, có hướng dẫn rõ ràng.
